SYNLawn Supports Green Initiatives in the Carolinas

Scott Marks

Synthetic grass has made enormous strides in North and South Carolina. Not only have the plastics developed into durable, sturdy products that stand the test of time, but SYNLawn has developed eco-friendly backing to offset our environmental footprint. Every product is made in the USA and uses renewable and recyclable components. Our grass itself is 100 percent recyclable. Southeast Turf is proud to be a certified distributor of SYNLawn grass products because of their commitment both to your family and to our planet. Here are just a few ways we’re protecting the environment one grass installation at a time:

No pesticide use. Natural grass attracts pests like fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. Southeast Turf / SYNLawn Carolina’s artificial grass is naturally bug-repellent and does not harbor anything pests might call home. Harsh chemicals are not required to kill weeds, as they simply will not grow through synthetic turf. Your pets and family are safe from the ill effects of harsh pesticides with SYNLawn.

Reduced carbon emissions. Natural grass requires a great deal of maintenance – and that includes using a lawn mower once or twice a week. Not only does this use a great deal of time, but it also creates air pollution in form of gasoline vapor. Creation of a cleaner environment starts at home. An investment in artificial grass reduces your family’s carbon footprint. This is a vote for the environment!

Water conservation. The Synthetic Turf Council estimates the average American family uses 400 gallons of water each day. Artificial turf installations saved between four and eight billion gallons of water in 2010 – an average savings of more than 27,000 to 55,000 gallons for families of four. Some homeowners report up to 70 percent savings on their home water bills. Imagine what you could do with extra money each month!

USDA certification. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has honored SYNLawn with their seal of approval. Artificial grass from Southeast Turf / SYNLawn Carolina has partnered with the United Soybean Board (USB) to utilize soybean oil in all of our products. Soybean oil is estimated to displace 60 percent of the petroleum-based polyurethane found in traditional synthetics. Using soybeans in all SYNLawn products creates American jobs and also supports the agriculture industry.

Cleaner air. SYNLawn’s use of soybean oil actually creates increased demand for agriculture. When companies need plants, farmers grow more. This creates job security and improves the environment by increasing the number of plants in our ecosystem. Plants remove carbon from the air and produce oxygen. The more soybean plants are grown, the better our air will be.

Artificial Grass Reviews in North Carolina

The Marks Family are true professionals. Answer calls/texts immediately. They treated my home like it was there own. They also hold their employees to the same standard. Clean and efficient, when they left it was like (other than the job) they were never there.

We can’t say enough about the great service and products from Southeast Turf! From the first meeting to the installation, they were great to deal with. Not to mention how awesome my yard looks. I think several of my neighbors are going to have it done as well because they too were impressed! Thank you!!

I had a small fenced in area off our patio that our dogs used. Southeast Turf installed artificial grass and it looks great. The team showed up on time and did a great job. They are booked out for a few months because they are in high demand. We love our new dog area. No more dirty dog feet, no more digging and no more smell!!

Turf installation at our beach home. Two large dogs with a small side yard creates challenges for potty time and maintaining your yard. They were able to solve this concern with turf installation that provides a safe area for our furbabies and a beautiful physical appearance as well. The installation was professionally handled and we are loving our new area!
