In order to stay competitive with other large gas station brands, Marks Oil Company decided to test out large scale artificial grass. This particular gas station is within walking distance to a public school, right off of a major interstate, and in a newly up and coming part of Concord, NC. Their hopes is that this will help them reduce the amount of lawn maintenance while also giving the students a place to hang out after school, wait on rides, and provide customers a place to stretch their legs whether it be two or four!
